The Liberia Scout Association (LSA) has remained a vital force in promoting community development and volunteerism across the country. Guided by the principles of duty to God, country, and others, the LSA actively engages young people in meaningful service initiatives that address key local challenges.
Scouts regularly participate in clean-up campaigns, environmental protection activities, health awareness drives, and support for vulnerable populations. During public health emergencies, such as the Ebola outbreak and the COVID-19 pandemic, LSA members played crucial roles in disseminating life-saving information, distributing sanitary materials, and supporting frontline efforts.
Through partnerships with schools, local government, and NGOs, the Scouts also promote education, peacebuilding, and youth empowerment. Their hands-on approach not only uplifts communities but also builds character, leadership, and civic responsibility among Liberia's youth.
